After three days, Malaysia finally struck gold when Diana Bong Siong Lin won the wushu women's Nanquan event.

Wushu contributed two bronze medals via Cheau Xuen Tai in the women's Nanquan and Phoo Eyin in the women's Jianshu.

Success deserted the men's water polo team who lost 3-9 to Thailand at Zayar Thiri swiming pool on Saturday.

The one gold and two bronze medals placed Malaysia fourth in the medal tally with one gold medal and eight bronze medals.

Myanmar top the table with six gold medals and one silver medal followed by Thailand with two gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal.

Vietnam are third with one gold medal, one silver medal and one bronze medal followed by Malaysia in fourth.
