Malaysia's divers competing in the 20th Commonwealth Games still have a chance to win more medals on the final day of competition Saturday.
"Overall, our divers have shown tremendous improvement, especially the youngsters.
"On the last day (Saturday), our divers have to be really focused. A single mistake can be very costly," Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia secretary Edwin Chong told Bernama.
Edwin, who is also Malaysia's diving team manager for the Glasgow Games, said unlike before, the national divers were now medal prospects at international meets.
"If we field three divers in the qualifying round, all three manage to make it to the final. This was unheard of in the past," he added.
The national diving contingent will finish the competition in the women's 3m springboard individual and the men's 10m platform individual.
