Malaysia's challenge in the 2015 Asian Badminton Championships ended tamely as National shuttlers were shown the exit early in Wuhan, China, Friday.
Vivian Hoo/Woon Khei Wei crashed out of the women's doubles quarterfinals after losing to Ma Jin/Tang Yuanting from the host country 11-21, 15-21 in just 39 minutes.
Ma Jin/Tang Yuanting are scheduled to take on Luo Ying/Luo Yu in an all-Chinese semifinal encounter Saturday.
Malaysia's sole representative in the men's singles, Chong Wei Feng was denied a semifinal berth by Tian Houwei of China in the quarterfinal.
Wei Feng lost 18-21, 9-21.
