NEMANJA Matic mahu kekal di Manchester United dan sedia mengetepikan lamaran kelab lain sekiranya ditawarkan lanjutan kontrak.
Pemain tengah Serbia itu boleh meninggalkan Old Trafford secara percuma pada akhir musim ini jika United memutuskan untuk tidak memperbaharui perjanjiannya.
Pemain berusia 31 tahun itu telah bermula dalam enam perlawanan terakhir termasuk menjaringkan gol tunggal dalam perlawanan separuh akhir Piala Liga Inggeris (EFL) ketika menentang Manchester City semalam sebelum dibuang padang kerana dua kad kuning.
Pep Guardiola melabel Matic sebagai "cemerlang" selepas perlawanan itu dan bekas tonggak Chelsea berkenaan berharap akan meraih ganjarannya selepas mengembalikan prestasi sebenar.
"Kontrak saya bertahan hingga akhir musim ini," katanya kepada pemberita.
"Saya berada di Carrington pada setiap hari dan bersikap terbuka untuk membincangkannya jika mereka fikir saya boleh membantu. Jika tidak, hidup perlu diteruskan.
"Masih tiada perbincangan yang berlaku tetapi kedudukan saya adalah jelas. Saya gembira untuk mewakili kelab ini, saya datang ke mari untuk menang dan jika mereka mahu saya kekal, tentu saja saya akan memberikan yang terbaik untuk memenangi trofi."
Matic sepatutnya sudah boleh menandatangani perjanjian pra-kontrak dengan kelab Eropah yang lain dan mendedahkan dia sudah mula ditawarkan pilihan.
"Saya tidak boleh dedahkan kelab yang berminat terhadap saya tetapi sudah pasti apabila anda bermain di Manchester United, banyak kelab ingin menandatangani anda," katanya.
"Bukan saya sahaja, malah terhadap setiap pemain United -- khususnya apabila kontrak anda akan berakhir.
"Pilihan pertama saya adalah Manchester United tetapi jika mereka memutuskan sesuatu yang lain maka selalunya akan ada penyelesaian."
Kemenangan The Red Devils di Stadium Etihad itu bagaimanapun gagal memastikan tempat dalam perlawanan akhir Piala EFL berikutan City mara dengan agregat 3-2.
Harapan mereka untuk layak ke Liga Juara-Juara (UCL) juga masih tidak menentu selepas dipisahkan enam mata dengan pasukan di tempat keempat, Chelsea, dalam saingan Liga Perdana Inggeris (EPL).

Pemain tengah itu menganggap lebih ramai pemain seperti Bruno Fernandes diperlukan oleh kelab berkenaan demi mencapai kejayaan.
"Kelab ini mahu memberi peluang kepada pemain-pemain muda dan tidak ada yang salah dengan pendekatan itu, tetapi di kelab seperti ini, banyak pihak menuntut keputusan yang memberangsangkan," katanya.
"Penyokong sudah terbiasa melihat kejayaan. Pemain muda memberikan yang terbaik tetapi mereka memerlukan masa dan masalahnya kelab ini tidak akan menawarkan ruang seperti itu."
