Mew Choo warmly received by the Lees

Wong Mew Choo is a hit with the Lees.

The former shuttler who is set to marry World No 1 Lee Chong Wei next month have known each other for almost 12 years.

Chong Wei's brother Chong Hoon said the whole family is excited over their union.

"Our mom is extremely pleased and so is the whole family. They have been dating for so long and finally they are tying the knot," said Chong Hoon.

Chong Hoon added that his brother, who just won the Denmark Open yesterday, does not have any other girlfriend in the past except for Mew Choo.

"As far as I know he has never been attached to anyone else except Mew Choo. Although they have been on and off throughout the years, it's evident that they are meant for each other."

The wedding dinner recpetion will be held on Nov 9 and 10 at the KL Convention Centre. Some 2,000 guests including the Yang diPertuan Agong, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, cabinet ministers and family members are expected to attend the events.
