The 22-year-old fighter lost to Geje Eustaquio from the Philippines in a bantamweight contest at ONE: Global Rivals.
“I’m little disappointed at the results… I thought I was better than Geje. I think I just didn't perform my best.
“Geje is a tough guy… disappointed ...but I'll come back,” he said.
Subba admitted not fully utilising his wrestling advantages and allowed his opponent to control the game.

“I should have gone for the takedowns a little bit more. I let him throw in more strikes,” he said.
During the bout, Eustaquio distanced Subba with his lightning fast kicks and sharp counter-punching.
Subba failed to get his offence going as Eustaquio dominated the fight from end-to-end.
After the third and final rounds, the judges’ scorecard granted Eustaquio a win via unanimous decision.
Global Rivals took place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila before scores of fight fans on Friday night.
