Five Malaysian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters will be taking on their opponents at home ground at ONE Championship's upcoming bout in Kuala Lumpur, this March 13.
Among the highlight of the event is the Malaysian Warrior Superfights which will feature Malaysian MMA star Peter Davis as he takes on Indian MMA veteran Rajinder Singh Meena and Malaysian darling Ann Osman taking on Egypt's Walaa Abbas.
Davis is known to be the face of Malaysia's MMA win a professional record of 9-3.
He gained victory during his previous fight at ONE FC: Roar Of Tigers, with a TKO win against Vaughn Donayre from the Philippines.
Ann is one of the most prominent figures in women sports in Malaysia, gaining lots of media attention both foreign and local including being invited in talk shows.
Being the first Malaysian female fighter to fight in ONE FC, she is also the first Malaysian female MMA fighter to attain victory in a professional fight by defeating former Women's boxing champion, Ana Julaton in Dubai last year.
Constantly developing her ground-fighting skills through her Brazilian Jiu-jitsu training, Ann also has effective takedowns and powerful ground-and-pound, making her a formidable foe for anybody in the division.
Meanwhile, three other Malaysian fighters Gianni Subba, Saiful Merican and Ev Ting will be locking horns with Thanh Vu from Australia, Anatpong Bunrad from Thailand and Cary Bullos from the Philippines respectively.
Subba is one of the most promising MMA prospects not just in Malaysia, but the world.
He managed to land an impressive win via soccer kick to the head to Singapore MMA veteran, Bruce Loh in just 33 seconds of the first round when he was just 19.
Saiful nicknamed “The Vampire” is a Malaysian Muay Thai practitioner and one of the most skilled strikers in the division.
He has more than a hundred professional Muay Thai fights and possesses ferocious kicks that have knocked out many opponents.
Ev Ting is regarded as one of Malaysia’s top MMA fighters with a professional MMA record of 8-2. He defeated Filipino Edward Kelly through a brutal head kick knockout during ONE FC: Roar Of Tigers.

Meanwhile, the largest MMA promotion in Asia will also return to Manila, Philippines for ONE FC: Valor Of Champions on 24 April and to Singapore on 22 May for ONE FC: Warrior's Quest.
ONE FC: Valor Of Champions will be held at the state-of-the-art MOA Arena while ONE FC: Warrior's Quest will be held at the 12,000-seater Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Originally scheduled to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia on 14 February, ONE FC: Odyssey Of Champions will be moved to a later date.
