MMA: ONE Championship announces fight calendar for 2018

Still three months left till the end of 2017, but Asia’s largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, ONE Championship has already planned its calendar for 2018.
In a statement on Thursday, ONE Championship announced its blockbuster 2018 calendar featuring 24 massive events taking place in iconic cities across Asia.
The promotion will make its pit-stop in Kuala Lumpur on March 9 and September 15, where Malaysian fights fans will get to see hometown heroes in action namely Ev Ting, Peter Davis, Ann Osman, the Subba brothers, Saiful Merican, Agilan Thani, and not to mention upcoming talents like Hisyam Samsudin and Muhammad Aiman.
“We are thrilled to announce our incredible 2018 calendar of events for ONE Championship. We have 24 massive shows planned for all sports fans in Asia and will continue to showcase the absolute best in martial arts, delivered by our homegrown martial arts superheroes.
“2018 is going to be an epic year of action and I can’t wait to get things started,” said ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
Besides that, fans will also get to see world champions like Brandon Vera, Ben Askren, Angela Lee, Aung La N Sang, Martin Nguyen, Adriano Moraes, Yoshitaka Naito, Bibiano Fernandes, Eduard Folayang, and Roger Gracie, putting their titles on the line for new challengers.
Also, authentic martial arts matches are now introduced in live events, including traditional Lethwei and Silat bouts, as well as Grappling Super-Matches.
