National squash queen Datuk Nicol David lived up to the expectation when she lifted her third consecutive title at the World Games 2013 in Cali, Colombia Sunday.
The world's number one won the gold after she outpaced Natalie Grinham of Holland 3-0 in the final.
Nicol did not have to work hard to subdue Natalie 11-6, 11-9, 11-8, said the World Games' website, www.worldgames2013.com.co.
Camille Serme of France took the bronze when she beat Malaysia's Low Wee Wern 3-0 (11-8, 11-4, 11-4).
Nicol previously bagged the gold at the quadrennial tournament in Duisburg, Germany in 2005 and Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 2009.
