Nicol fails to retain Cleveland Classic title

World squash queen Nicol David failed to retain her Cleveland Classic title after she was smashed out from the final in Ohio on Tuesday.
The Malaysian lost 11-3, 5-11, 11-9, 5-11, 9-11 to Egyptian Raneem El Weleil in the match. The results were flashed on Squash Site's Twitter account.
Nicol, had on her Twitter account said; "Raneem took this one today in the finals after a brutal 3-2 match. A great week in Cleveland and will have to come back next year now."
Earlier, Nicol was named WSA Heather McKay Player of the Year for the seventh time following a presentation during the tournament.
