Nicol, Laura set up final date at World Open
World number one Datuk Nicol David stayed on course for her seventh Women's World Open squash title after defeating England's Jenny Duncalf to reach the final.
Nicol, 29, who has won six World Open titles, needed only 37 minutes to beat Jenny in straight sets 11-7, 11-4, 11-2 at the glass court mounted at Camana Bay in Cayman Islands, on Thursday.
"Jenny was playing some great shots at the start. I just couldn't tell where the ball was going next and I wasn't able to play my own game.
"I really had to up my game to stay in it and thankfully I got it all together as the match wore on," said Nicol as quoted in the competition official website, www.worldopen.squash.com.
Nicol will be meeting world number three, Laura Massaro of England in the final tomorrow.
