Melaka United coach, Mat Zan Mat Aris is still in the dark if he will be retained to helm the squad in the Super League next season.
He is uncertain about his future despite successfully steering Melaka United to win the Premier League this season, thus qualifying for this season's Super League.
Asked if he will continue to lead the squad next season, he said "All the best for the next season Melaka United."
Mat Zan said he had yet to receive an offer to extend his contract and let the management team to decide his position.
"It is up to the management. Maybe in a day or two, they will decide whether to retain the coach or players," he told reporters here last night.
He was met after the last match of this season's Premier League which saw Melaka United drew 1-1 with Sime Darby FC before about 35,000 spectators at Hang Jebat stadium, Krubong here. The team also received the Premier League trophy after the match.
However Mat Zan said he was always open and would consider offers from other teams that could provide new challenges to him as a coach.
"My contract expired last month (August) if Melaka wanted me they would have already made an offer (contract) ...probably they have plans to form a stronger team, we leave it to the managmeent," he added.
Mat Zan, who mentored Melaka United in the FAM League 2015 season, said winning the FAM League title last year and the Premier League this year was a remarkable achievement for him in his career as a coach.
