JDT coached by Croatia-born Bojan Hodak will take on Pahang in the Malaysia Cup final tonight.
The Johor state government will not declare Sunday a holiday even if Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) wins the prestigious Malaysia Cup by beating Pahang in the final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Saturday night.
Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said the decision was made since the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination would start on Monday.
"The teachers will face a major problem if Sunday was declared a holiday," he said when asked if a holiday would be declared if JDT won the Malaysia Cup.
Tomorrow is a working day in Johor.
Mohamed Khaled had earlier opened the first phase of the Extreme Sports Site in Pasir Gudang that was built at a cost of RM300,000 by Pasir Gudang Municipal Council.
