NSC will conduct a post mortem on SEA Games within two weeks
The National Sports Council (NSC) will make a post mortem within two weeks on few sports which shows decline in the Myanmar SEA Games recently as stated by Minister of Youth and Sports, Khairy Jamaluddin to Bernama.
Post mortem will be made for sports which used to deliver gold medals for the country but have shown a significant decline in performance such as athletics, swimming and cycling.
"After the post mortem session, NSC will propose solutions to resolve the poor showing or weakness in several sports that used to contribute medals to the country” he told the media.
In December 2013, the Malaysian contingent returned with 43 gold, 38 silver and 77 bronze medals at the SEA Games in Myanmar.
