Reebok ONE Challenge 2014, an all-round 20.5km timed obstacle race, will be held on September 14, 2014 in Putrajaya.
The race, which incorporates 15 obstacles or terrains, is bound to put a challenge on the athletes' cardio strength, upper body strength, core strength, endurance, and most importantly mental strength, pushing them to their limits.
Due to an overwhelming response from fitness enthusiasts, the registration for the race which started on June 5, 2014 and limited to only 3,000 participants, was closed within five days.
The race is open to athletes between the age of 18 to 55 years old in two categories: Men’s Open and Women’s Open.
All athletes will be timed using a timing chip, which would be provided to them, along with a race kit.
A special PLAYDRY running vest will also be given to all participants.
Participants of the Reebok ONE Challenge will be competing for a total prize package of RM64,000, including cash prizes of RM5,600.
Prize sponsors for the run include Timex, Optimum Nutrition, AirAsia, iON Action Camera, Chi Fitness, Fitness Concept, Dailymuscle, Banana boat, Men’s Health and Running Malaysia.
All Reebok ONE Challenge finishers will receive a finisher tee and a medal.
In conjunction with the Reebok ONE Challenge, Reebok will be launching the latest obstacle racing shoe from the Reebok All-Terrain series.
This latest obstacle racing shoe, which already made its way into local stores since June, is equipped with strategically placed H20 DRAIN ports that drains water through its upper and mid-sole sections.
