Pahang beat Perak 3-1 in the first leg of the quarter-final at Darul Makmur Stadium here, last night.
Pahang opened scoring via Wan Zaharulnizam Wan Zakaria in the 35th minute when he converted the pass by Matthew Thomas Davies in front of the goal mouth.
Two minutes later Pahang added another goal through Mohd Afif Amiruddin after a melee in the penalty box.
Just before half time Perak were again punished with the third goal in the 40th minute by Matthew.
In the second half Perak, guided by Mehmed Durakovic, reduced the gap in the 68th minute through Gilmar Jose Da Silva Filho who made it 3-1. - BERNAMA
