Pahang names Ronald Smith as the new coach to replace Dollah

Former Sabah coach Ronald Smith from Australia will take over from Dollah Salleh as the coach of Pahang for next season.
Pahang's former assistant team manager Zainal Abidin Hassan who is now the assistant coach said Smith would replace Dollah who moved to Police for next season.
Zainal said Pahang were also happy that their Argentinean import, Matias Ruben Conti who scored the winning goal in the Malaysia Cup final against Kelantan, had decided to stay on with the team.
He added that former Kelantan striker Dickson Nwakaeme who was rumoured to have accepted an offer to play in France, had decided to sign for Pahang together with Damion Delano Stewart and Zeshan Rehman who had played for Fulham and Queens Park Rangers (QPR), respectively.
Pahang skipper Jalalludin Abu Jaafar spearheads the local players list with Mohd Razman Roslan, Mohd Amirulhadi Zainal, Azammuddin Mohd Akil, Mohd Fauzi Roslan, Mohd Hafiz Kamal, R. Gopinanthan, R. Surendren, Mohd Faizol Hussain, Mohd Saiful Nizam Miswan, Azidan Sarudin, Mohd Shahrizan Mohd Salleh, Mohd Zaiza Zainal Abidin, Abdul Malik Mat Ariff, Muhammad Syawal Norsam, Mohd Faisal Mohd Rosli and Mohd Hazri Rozali.
The job of keeping goal for Pahang has been handed to Mohd Khairul Azhan Mohd Khalid, Mohd Nasril Mat Nourdin and President's Cup squad player Muhammad Saufi Mohd after the departure of former custodian Rosfaizul Azuar to Kuantan FA.
Pahang, the Malaysia Cup winner after 21 years, lost another player in Mohd Hazuan Mohd Daud who decided to join Police.
