Malaysia's medal drought continued at the 2015 FINA World Diving Series in Kazan, Russia on the third day of competition when Malaysian diving queen Pandelela Rinong failed to make it to the final of the women's 10m Platform.

The Malaysian diving queen who put up a below par performance failed to make the final of the women's individual 10m Platform on Sunday after three consecutive poor dives.

Pandelela who is ranked among the top three divers in the world could only manage fourth place out of six divers in the first semifinal series with 335.20 points while only the top three advance to the final.

According to the FINA official website www.fina.org, Pandelela's first dive contributed 72.00 points but her subsequent three dives failed to hit the 70-point mark, managing just (69.60, 62.40, 54.40).

Pandelela however, made a last ditch attempt with the best dive of the day, collecting 76.80 points, but her earlier blemishes saw her lose out third place to Yulia Timoshinina of Russia who sneaked in with 342.00 points.

On the first day of competition, Ng Yan Wee and Nur Dhabitah Sabri missed out on a bronze medal when they finished fourth in the women's 3m Springboard while Cheong Jun Hoong/Leong Mun Yee managed only fifth spot in the women's 10m Platform Synchronized diving.

On Saturday, Cheong Jun Hoong had also missed out of a bronze medal in the women's individual 3m Springboard.
