PDRM lift Premier League title, promoted to Super League

The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) stamped their authority to lift the Premier League title after trouncing Negeri Sembilan 4-0 at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi last night.
Accumulating 52 points after 16 wins, the Sang Saka Biru squad were ahead of archrivals Felda United by five points.
Being Premier League champions and runners-up, both PDRM and Felda FC will be promoted to the Super league next season.
Bottom of the table, Perlis (11th position) and Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang FC (PBAPP FC) (12th) are relegated to the FAM League.
PDRM drew their first blood with Bobby Gonzales opened scoring as early as the sixth minute before Mohd Fauzi Abdul Majid put them two up in the 39th minute to lead 2-0 at half time.
PDRM continued to dominate the game in the second half and scored two more goals in the 48th minute through Ali Ashfaq and Mohd Shahril Izwan Abdullah in the 69th minute.
Meanwhile, Felda United earned their promotion in style when they demolished UiTM FC 8-0 at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium.
The goals were scored by Mohd Raimi Mohd Nor in the 20th minute, Edward Junior Wilson (44th, 47th), Ndumba Makeche (83rd), Syahid Zaidon (84th), and Indra Putra Mahayuddin (62nd, 88th, 92nd).
Elsewhere, Sabah beat DRB Hicom 1-0 in Kota Kinabalu, Johor Darul Ta'zim II defeated SPA Putrajaya 2-1 in Malacca, Kedah played to a 1-1 draw with Penang in Alor Setar, and Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang FC (PBAPP FC) and Perlis drew 1-1 in Penang.
In the Super League, leaders Johor Darul Ta'zim are one closer from being hailed champions after beating Kelantan 3-0 at the Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium, Larkin.
The Southern Tigers dominated Super League table with the 12th victory by collecting 41 points, four points ahead of archrivals Selangor.
Mohd Amirul Hadi Zainal put JDT ahead in the 28th minute before Mohd Nazrin Mohd Nawi increased the lead in the 52nd minute.
Luciano Figueora sealed the issue beyond doubt in the 88th minute.
Terengganu's dream of finishing second was dashed when they were held to a 1-1 draw by the Malaysian Armed Forces at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium, Kuala Terengganu.
Mohd Nor Farhan Muhammad put Terengganu ahead in the 59th minute before Fabrice Noel drew level for the Armed Forces in the 64th minute.
