Perak Muay association hopes Muay Thai will be included in 2017 SEA Games

The Perstauan Muay Perak is hoping that Muay Thai will be included in the 2017 SEA Games which Malaysia will be hosting an all editions of the Malaysia Games.
Its president Datuk Seri Dr Raja Ahmad Zainuddin Raja Omar said this was because the sport was becoming increasingly popular not only in Malaysia but internationally.
He told this to reporters after welcoming home Iskandar Zulqarnain Mohamad Ezry A'Zamin who did Malaysia proud by winning the gold medal in the boys' Under-12 category in the Muay Thai World Championships in Bangkok last week.
The Year Six student of Sekolah Kebangsaan Changkat Jering, Bukit Gantang here, said his focus next was the Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examination and that he nurtured ambitions of turning professional in the sport when he is older.
