Police detain four Negeri Sembilan football fans for assault

Police detained four Negeri Sembilan supporters for allegedly assaulting a Felda United supporter after the 2016 Malaysia Cup opening match between the two teams at the Tun Abdul Razak Stadium, Jengka, near Maran, last night.
Maran District Police chief DSP Mat Rizal Mat Radzi said the male suspects, aged 19 to 39 years, were detained at 1.15 am in a Negeri Sembilan supporters' bus at the Chenor Toll Plaza.
"Based on a police report by the victim, Muhamad Lokmanul Hakim Hassan, 26, from Bandar Jengka, he was approached by a group of Negeri Sembilan's supporters when exiting the stadium at 11 pm, who assaulted him.
"The victim was also kicked in the back, left shoulder, face and waist and stomped on the right side of the head. He was bruised on the right forehead and experienced pain on the right waist," he said when contacted today.
Mat Rizal said the victim's friend Fahmi Ibrahim, 21, also lost his wallet which contained, among others, identity card, ATM card and driving licence.
Felda United beat Negeri Sembilan 3-1 during the match.
