Police urge three individuals involved in Shah Alam stadium fracas to surrender

Police have urged three other individuals believed to have been involved in the clash between supporters during the AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 first leg semi-finals on Dec 7 to surrender.
Selangor Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief Datuk Mohd Adnan Abdullah said 13 people had been arrested so far and he appealed to the others involved to come forward to help in the investigation.
He said those with any information relating to the incident or know any of the individuals involved should contact the investigating officer of the case ASP Chang Sing Kong at 016-7723336 or Shah Alam CID acting chief ASP Mohd Amirul Abdullah at 012-4748870.
"Besides these two officers, the public may contact Shah Alam police headquarters directly at 03-5520 2222," he said in a statement today.
In the incident at Shah Alam Stadium, a group of Harimau Malaya supporters disappointed after Malaysia lost 1-2 to Vietnam, was said to have provoked the Vietnamese supporters by throwing objects at them.
During the commotion, a Vietnamese supporter was reportedly injured and following that nine men were remanded on Dec 12 to help in investigations.
Five of the men in the group were arrested and charged in the Magistrate's Court here last Thursday for rioting and four are still remanded until tomorrow. Four others have been released on bail.
