Rio 2016: Malaysian mixed doubles create history to reach badminton final

Malaysia has confirmed at least a silver medal in badminton when mixed pair Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying qualified for the final at the Rio Olympic Games, here, Monday.
The Malaysian pair disposed of Xu Chen-Ma Jin of China, 21-12, 21-19 in a semifinal match.
The Malaysians will meet Indonesia's Tontowi Ahmad-Liliyana Natsir in Wednesday's final.
The Indonesians beat top seeds Zhang Nan-Zhao Yunlei, 21-16, 21-15 in the other semifinal.
