Rio 2016: RM50,000 cash reward awaits Pandelela if she wins gold

Tasik Biru state assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep has promised a cash reward of RM50,000 if National diving queen Pandelela Rinong wins a gold medal in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
Henry, who had presented RM10,000 cash as a gift for Pandelela's 23rd birthday, said he would pay RM50,000 if Pandelela won the gold medal.
"Yes, I will give her (Pandelela) RM50,000 as a cash incentive for winning a gold medal in Rio," he told Bernama when contacted.
Pandelela from Bau, Sarawak, winner of a bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympics (10m Platform), would be in action in the women's 10m Platform Tuesday.
