The 2015 Rubik's Cube World Championship will run from July 17-19.
"Speedcubers" will gather in São Paulo this weekend for the biannual Rubik's Cube World Championship.
The sport involves solving a Rubik's Cube in the fastest possible time -- often a matter of seconds for the world's best. This year's battle will see 2013 champion Feliks Zemdegs from Australia defend his title. His winning performance saw him solve the puzzle with an average time of 8.18 seconds.
Competitors solve the Rubik's Cube five times, with the fastest average time taking home the trophy.
The Rubik's Cube is the world's best-selling toy, with over 400 million sold.
