DR RAMLAN: The Sample B test result is unlikely to defer from the Sample A test.
National Sports Institute (ISN) CEO Datuk Dr Ramlan Abdul Aziz said Sample B test result will unlikely to differ from Sample A test.
Dr Ramlan said this after returning from Oslo, Norway to witness the procedures carried out to test Sample B at the University Oslo Hospital there on Tuesday.
"Positively speaking it's the same sample and the same test. You're not possibly expecting a different result...basically, that's more less for the conclusion," he said after arriving at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, here on Friday.
The athlete as well as all the relevant parties involved must prepare for the Badminton World Federation's procedures and hearing.
Dr Ramlan arrived with Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) general manager Kenny Goh.
The country's icon sportsman was reported to have failed a random dope test world tournament in Copenhagen in August.
The athlete was implicated in the doping scandal after traces of dexamethasone were reportedly found in his urine (A Sample) during the random test conducted at the World Championships.
