Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek added another feather in his cap with rousing ping-pong skills demonstrated at a friendly tournament held at Astro AWANI on Tuesday.
Ahmad Shabery defeated his opponent, Astro AWANI Executive Editor Razak Chik.
The minister and his teammate won three sets of the ping-pong match which kicked off at approximately 10pm, soon after he finished a 'live' interview of 'Analisis AWANI' aired on Astro AWANI (Channel 501).

He also played in a single match and defeated Astro AWANI's broadcast journalist, Syah Hairizal Kamalul Arifin.

The minister sportingly requested to have the friendly tournament and spent almost an hour to join both editorial and production teams of Astro AWANI in the games.

Ahmad Shabery proved that he is made of sterner stuff by demonstrating plausible coordination as well as good compact swing on both forehand and backhand.
