Singapore Selection won the Sultan of Selangor Cup after beating Selangor Selection 4-3 on penalties at Shah Alam Stadium Saturday night.
The match was decided on penalties after both team were tied 1-1 after regulation time.
Selangor Selection drew first blood when R. Gopinathan's scored in the 17th minute while Singapore Selection replied via Stanley Ng in the 77th minute.
As champions, Singapore Selection won RM50,000 while runners-up Selangor Selection won RM10,000.
The prizes were presented by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Earlier, Selangor Veterans beat Singapore Veterans 2-0 thanks to goals from Shahrin Majid (15th minute) and Dollah Salleh (24th minute).
