Negeri Sembilan Football Association (PBNS) president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the solid backing which is always given by the Deer squad supporters can spur the players to go all out.

"I hope the fans will continue to give their support to stroke the spirit of the players while the players should play all out as if tomorrow''s match is a final stage match.

"I am confident if we are hardworking and luck is on our side, we can win," he told reporters here today.

Mohamad, who is also the Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, said this when asked to comment on the FA Cup second semi-finals match between Negeri Sembilan and Pahang at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi here tomorrow.

He said despite losing 0-1 at the first semi-finals away on April 30, he believed anything could happen if the team under coach Mohd Asri Ninggal performed well.

"If the players play with determination and have the spirit to win, Negeri Sembilan, if our luck holds, we can qualify to the finals on May 20," he said.

For the record, Negeri Sembilan was FA Cup champions in 2003 and 2010. - BERNAMA
