Suarez promises no more biting

Barcelona’s Luis Suarez has assured to his fans that he will not bite again, the Associated Press reported.

“I say to all the fans, don’t worry, because I won’t do that anymore,” he was quoted saying at an event today.

Suarez appeared at the event which was delayed for more than five weeks since the footballer’s transfer from Liverpool following his suspension for biting an opponent at the 2014 World Cup.

The former Liverpool striker was banned from all football-related activity for four months after biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini on the shoulder during a World Cup group game.
