Terengganu is confident of winning two gold medals in the 18th Malaysia Games (Sukma), based on the progress of the sepak takraw squad.
Terengganu Sepak Takraw Association president, Mohd Shapian Ali, said focus would be on the the inter-regu and the team events.
"We are confidence of the meeting target based on the high commitment shown by the players during the training sessions and the friendly matches.
"All the players are physically and mentally well prepared for the challenge," he told reporters after meeting the players, which was also attended by Batu Rakit State assemblyman Bazlan Abdul Rahman, here, yesterday.
Mohd Shapian said 30 senior and junior players were listed for the challenge, adding that they expect stiff competition from Sabah which has a strong regu team.
