Super League: Felda United FC defeats Kelantan 1-0, strenghtens position

Felda United FC (FUFC) strengthened its position in the Super League after defeating Kelantan 1-0 at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Baharu, on Saturday night.
The winning goal by the 'The Settlers' squad was scored by imported player from Liberia, Edward Wilson in the 60th minute, edging 'The Red Warriors', ranked seventh in the league.
Meanwhile, the Police team (PDRM) fought back, from losing 0-1 to Perak and winning 3-1 at full time at the Perak Stadium, Ipoh, and securing second place in the league.
However, the game was tarnished by a red card incident when the referee, Samsuddin Ibrahim ordered Perak player, Syazwan Roslan, to leave the field for a rough tackle on PDRM player, Ashfaq Ali in the 57th minute.
In the Shah Alam Stadium, Selangor used the advantage of playing on home ground with 2-0 win, defeating the Sarawak team through Afiq Azmi in the 10th minute and Fitri Syazwan in the 77th minute.
Sime Darby FC, the bottom-most team in the league, surprised past champion, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) with a 1-1 draw at the Majlis Perbandaran Selayang Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Lions XII team used the advantage of home ground when scoring a draw 1-1 against visitors Terengganu at the Jalan Besar Besar, Singapore.
Elsewhere, the Armed Forces (ATM) team posted their first win this season with a slim 1-0 victory against Pahang at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi, Seremban.
The goal was scored by imported player from Nigeria, Abdulafees Abdulsalam in the 71st minute.
