T-Team stay in the lead but Penang and Kedah keep pace

Premier League leader T-Team maintained top spot after whipping Kuala Lumpur 4-1 at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium while Penang kept pace after moving into second spot by beating SPA Putrajaya 4-1 at the City Stadium, last night.
Kedah who beat UiTM FC 3-1 at the Darulaman Stadium are in third spot despite having the same points as Penang due to goal difference.
Sabah who were in second spot prior to kick off today, dropped to fourth spot after sharing the spoils with NS Matrix after a 2-2 draw at the Likas Stadium in Sabah.
At the Hang Jebat Stadium in Melaka, PKNS FC beat Kuantan 3-2 to register their fifth win of their Premier League campaign to maintain fifth spot while JDT II and DRB Hicom FC were also involved in a 2-2 draw at the Pasir Gudang Stadium in Johor.
Matches kicked off at 10pm today due to the fasting month.
The win today saw T-Team who are still reeling from the loss their captain David Oniya who passed away on June 13 while playing a friendly match against Kelantan, collected 29 points to open up a four-point gap over second placed Penang and Kedah who have 25 points each.
T-Team's goals today were scored by Ahmad Takhiyuddin Roslan (4th min), Farhod Tadjiev (21st min), Mohd Norhakim Hassan (35th min) and Josip Milardovic (52nd min) while Kuala Lumpur's only goal was scored by Modibo Konte in the 68th minute.
Penang had to thank Elias Sulaiman who opened accounts in the 59th minute before Mat Saiful Mohamad made it 2-0 in the 69th minute while Brazilian Alberto Goncalves scored a brace in the 87th and 89th minutes to complete the win.
SPA Putrajaya's only goal of the match was scored by its import from Russia, Rodion Sergeyevich Dyachenko in the 79th minute.
