Tengku Mahaleel expected to quit BAM
Tengku Mahaleel is expected to give up his presidency due to poor health, a source claims.
A changing of the guard is expected to take place when the Badminton Association of Malaysia's (BAM) executive committee meets Sunday.
BAM president Tan Sri Tengku Mahaleel Tengku Ariff is expected to give up his post due to poor health.
"Tan Sri (Tengku Mahaleel) is not in good health, maybe there will be an important announcement on Sunday. So wait for the official announcement," a source in BAM told Bernama.
The source added that BAM deputy president, Tan Sri Mohamed Al Amin Abd Majid, is expected to succeed Tengku Mahaleel.
Sunday's meeting is scheduled to be held at the Dorsett Grand Subang at 11am.
