Tengku Shahrizal Tengku Abdul Rahman won the main Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's Belt at the 2015 Kuda Merah International Muai Thai Championship here, Sunday night.
In the final, Tengku Shahrizal, 23, representing Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) knocked out Sirit-Tong from Thailand under five minutes in the first round.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also Home Minister, put the belt around the champion's waist.
The fourth edition of the championship was organised by the PDRM Kuda Merah Muai Thai Club in cooperation with Kuala Lumpur City Hall and opened by Ahmad Zahid.
A total 24 local and foreign participants, mostly from Thailand, vied for 12 titles (Belts) on Saturday and Sunday.
The main titles hotly contested were the Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's belt, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza's belt and Sinar Harian's Belt.
