Tennis: ATP world rankings at end of 2013
Rafael Nadal was confirmed as the world number one at the end of the 2013 season on Monday, following the Czech Republic's 3-2 win over Serbia in the Davis Cup final.
Second ranked Novak Djokovic won both his singles for Serbia in Belgrade, but he already knew that the points he earned for that would not be enough to regain the top spot from the Spaniard in what was the last tournament of the year where ATP points were available.
The pair will be inactive from the ATP circuit until the new year and the buildup to the Australian Open in Melbourne.
