Kelantan Football team The Red Warriors (TRW) need to immediately streamline their attacking line-up ahead of the new Malaysian League season, says head coach Zahasmi Ismail.
He said TRW was still found lacking in the position after a few warm-up matches recently.
"During the friendly matches, the players in front could not score despite having opportunities," he told reporters after a team training session here, yesterday.
Kelantan will face Melaka United in their first Super League match of the season at Stadium Sultan Muhammad IV here on Jan 21.
Zahasmi hoped that the arrival of three foreign players, namely Mohamed Ghaddar of Lebanon, and Cedric Djeugoue and Okikiola Afolabi of Nigeria, would strengthen the team.
"I hope that the presence of these foreign players, two forwards and a defender, will be able to help the team obtain the best possible results in every game," he said. -- Bernama
