TSG to send five riders to Le Tour De Philippines

Five cyclists from the Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG) will compete in the Le Tour de Philippines from April 13 to 16.

TSG executive officer Nik Mohd Shahrom Nik Mohd Hashim said the riders who were accompanied by Italian coach Sebastian Duclos, left to the Philippines, from here, today.

"They (riders) were selected to carry TSG's flag in the tour," he told Bernama, Thursday.

The five riders in the team are Mohd Saufi Mat Senan, Mohd Shahrul Mat Amin, Nur Umirull Fakharuddin Marzuki, Mohd Saiful Anuar Aziz and Mohd Zulhilmi Hafiz Ahmad Zamri.

"Mohd Zulhilmi, a former National rider, joined TSG after representing the country in the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) recently," he said.

TSG are also expected to participate in the Le Tour d Hainan China, Okinawa Japan, Taihu China, Banyuwangi Indonesia and Thailand competitions.
