US Open: Chong Wei returns in winning form

Former world number one shuttler, Datuk Lee Chong Wei won the US Open championship, his first international title since serving out an eight-month ban for a doping violation.
The game witnessed Chong Wei’s comeback when he defeated Danish player Hans Kristian Vittinghus, 22-20, 21-12.
Vittinghus was seen as a possible winner of the first set when he was led the match 19-16. Chong Wei however managed to tie the game 20-20 before winning it.
In the second set, Chong Wei once again defeated the Danish player who often made mistakes during the game.
Chong Wei’s next game would be for the Canadian Open.
