The Kelantan team's skipper promises to steer his team to victory and restore the honour of coach Bojan Hodak in the first leg semi-final match of the FA Cup at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here Saturday night.
Mohd Badri Mohd Radzi, 30, said Kelantan must win the match after Hodak was scatchingly criticised by fans and the Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) for not fielding certain key players against Johor DT in the Super League competition last week.
The 0-2 loss to Johor DT in the Super League competition last week was believed to to have been caused by Hodak's action in not fielding three players, namely Mohd Badhri, Indra Putra Mahayuddin and Mohd Norfarhan Mohamad in the second half of the match.
Newspapers Friday reported that FA of Kelantan (KAFA) adviser Tan Sri Annuar Musa had condemned the action of the Croatian coach on Facebook after the match ended and was quoted as saying, "The most foolish gamble this season."
Nevertheless, Hodak defended his action because he wanted them to get adequate rest for the match with Terengganu in the FA Cup competition on Saturday.
