The government has channelled RM20.941 billion to 357,948 employers through the WSP to maintain the employment of 2.96 million local workers.

The government has approved RM12.76 billion of applications for the Wage Subsidy Programme (WSP) as of Feb 5, 2021, said Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

A total of 322,177 employers and 2.64 million employees have received WSP benefits under the PRIHATIN and PENJANA.
