Tunisia opposition protests against Saied over democracy and economic woes
Hundreds of protesters took to the streets in Tunis calling for President Kais Saied to step down and demanding the “restoration of democracy”. Demonstrators also called for the release of jailed opposition figures, activists and journalists.
