Bosnian finance minister injured in car accident

Bosnia's Minister of Finances and Treasury Nikola Spiric of Bosnia and Herzegovina was seriously injured in a car accident late Friday night, China's Xinhua news agency said quoting local media's report early Saturday.

Spiric was unconscious when he was pulled out of the car in Drvar, and was believed to have sustained a concussion. His driver was also injured.

There is still no detailed information on the accident. Police said that the accident occurred when an unknown vehicle hit Spiric's car at around 22:00 local time (2100 GMT) Friday night.

The injured, after emergency treatment on the crashing site, were moved to the Outpatient Clinic in Drvar. They were later transfered to the Banja Luka Clinical Centre for further examination and treatment.
