COVID-19: Indonesia's case tally at 275,213, death toll 10,386

JAKARTA: Indonesia reported 3,874 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, taking its tally to 275,213 cases.

Based on the data posted on the official twitter page of the Indonesian National Disaster Management Authority(BNPB), @BNPB_Indonesia today, a further 129,553 are still being monitored for the virus.

From 12 noon yesterday to 12 noon today, 78 fatalities were reported, raising the death toll to 10,386.

Jakarta province still tops the number of positive cases in the republic with 70,441, an increase of 1,217 new cases.

The province of East Java recorded the highest death toll at 3,118, followed by Jakarta (1,686), Central Java (1,389) and the rest in other provinces.
