COVID-19: Over 300,000 positive cases in Indonesia

JAKARTA: The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Indonesia has reached 303,498 after 3,992 new cases were recorded within a period of 24 hours.
Based on information from the official Twitter account of the Indonesian National Agency for Disaster Management (BNBP), another 139,401 patients were still being monitored for the viral infection.
Between noon yesterday and noon today, 96 more deaths were reported, bringing the cumulative number to 11,151.
Jakarta province still has the highest total number of positive cases in the republic, with 78,850 including 1,398 new cases.
East Java province has recorded the highest total number of fatalities, with 3,280 followed by Jakarta (1,755), Central Java (1,444) and the rest of the Indonesian provinces.
