Thailand reported no new COVID-19 cases and fatalities over the last 24 hours, with total cumulative cases remaining at 3,125 and 58 fatalities.
It also marks the 17th day without local transmission in the kingdom.
Assistant spokeswoman for Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), Dr Panprapa Yongtrakul said to date, 2, 987 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals while 80 remain warded.
"Of 3,125 COVID-19 cases in the kingdom, 2,444 cases are local transmission with 681 imported cases," she said at a COVID-19 daily briefing here today.
Thailand has started its first phase of relaxation on May 3. About 95 per cent of businesses and venues are expected to resume operation when the fourth phase of relaxation kicks off on June 15.
International schools, tuition centres, amusement parks, playgrounds, daycare centre for children and elderly and outdoor sport facilties are expected to reopen.
However, 'high-risk' venues including entertainment outlets including pubs, bars and karaoke as well as bath-sauna-massage parlours will remain closed.
Meanwhile, local media reported that Thai government is likely to lift the night curfew, which runs from 11 pm to 3 am, starting June 15.
Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan o-cha will be chairing CCSA meeting tomorrow to finalise the list of businesses and venues to resume operation.
