To date, majority have yet to come forward to transfer their CPF savings to their personal bank account, and majority of them have CPF balances of less than S$5,000.
These non-SCs and non-PRs have previously worked in Singapore before 1987, contributed to their CPF account while working in Singapore and yet to withdraw their CPF savings. We encourage them to come forward to withdraw their CPF savings as soon as possible by submitting an online application at https://form.gov.sg/63573e845cfdb20012171772 or a post-in application.
Below are the steps to submit a post-in application:
1. Download and print the form 'CPF Account Closure for non-Singapore Citizens and non-Permanent Residents’ (Form CPF-CA) at cpf.gov.sg/FormCPFCA.
2. Bring the form and original copies of the required supporting documents listed in the form, to have them witnessed and certified by an official from the Singapore Overseas Mission*, with his official stamp or seal duly affixed. Please note that an appointment has to be made with the Singapore Overseas Mission for documents to be certified. No walk-ins will be accepted.
3. Send the completed Form CPF-CA and required supporting documents via registered mail to:
