TIANJIN, China: Malaysian motorsport athlete Leona Chin won the 2024 CCSC China Circuit Sprint Challenge BMW M235i Cup overall championship, marking her first title in the series. Chin clinched the victory in the winter round at Tianjin’s V1 International Circuit, securing pole position and consecutive wins in the final races.

Throughout the season, Chin’s resilience was tested with extreme weather conditions from 40°C summer heat to chilly winter races, which impacted tire grip. Reflecting on her achievement, Chin expressed gratitude to her team and hopes the championship will attract new sponsors.

“This season truly tested my endurance and focus. I’m incredibly grateful to my team for their support throughout, and to the CCSC organizers for an amazing series,” said Chin.

Chin’s next race is at the prestigious Macau GP taking place November 15 to 17, where she'll be the only female driver, competing against top male racers globally.
