BARCELONA: YTL Communications has been honored with the "5G-A×AI Integrated Innovation Award" at the GTI Awards during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, recognizing its pioneering deployment of AI and robotics-driven smart manufacturing at Clarion Malaysia—a first for the country.
This accolade adds to YTL Communications’ recent success at the Asian Telecom Awards 2025, where it won "B2B Client Initiative of the Year" and "Innovative Connectivity Solution of the Year."

YTL Communications deployed a Yes 5G SA Private Network at Clarion Malaysia, transforming its automotive electronics production into Malaysia’s first private 5G-powered smart manufacturing facility. The network seamlessly integrates AI, IoT, and robotics applications, enabling:

- 70% decrease in processing time
- 80% improvement in material handling efficiency
Additionally, YTL Communications’ Yes Managed Wi-Fi services, which leverage 5G and cloud-based virtualization, also received industry recognition. These services, deployed at luxury resorts, have enhanced guest experiences while optimizing operational efficiency.
The GTI Awards, organized by the Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI), celebrate groundbreaking advancements in 5G and AI integration, underscoring YTL Communications’ role in shaping the future of smart connectivity and digital transformation.
