No further information on Snowden case

China's Foreign Minstry has no further information to be provided regarding the case of former National Security Agency (NSA)'s employee Edward Snowden.
Hua Chunying, spokeswoman of the ministry, said the Chinese side is aware of the situation but no further information would be given at present.
Questions such as if the United States government had contacted China for Snowden's extradition and if China had considered the case as a foreign affairs matter and should be handled by the central government were thrown at Hua at the a regular briefing here Thursday.
The 29-year-old Snowden reportedly flew into Hong Kong from Hawaii on May 20 after claiming to be the one who leaked details of the NSA tracking operation known as Prism.
In an interview with Hong Kong's South China Morning Post, the NSA whistleblower disclosed the U.S. had been hacking computers in Hong Kong and mainland China since 2009.
